This is a motel, dirty overall.

Ok little better than expected, given other reviews. No toewls at first, quickly resolved. Only one night, but I'd stay again.

  • Couple

    Location, pool, architecture.

Cockroaches, dirty carpet. And there were ice machines on all four floors. but only the one on the second floor worked.

It was evident they are trying hard to run a respectable place within a sketchy neighborhood. Overall the room was great for its purpose, kick it at the Essence, get a couple hours sleep before heading home.

Room wasn't thoroughly cleaned but after mentioning it, they quickly corrected the problem

The cleanliness is not the best. The facilities are old and in need of a handyman's touch. It is livable if you are young, low on cash and have little expectations, but if you are use to the finer end of hotel luxuries, you'll be disappointed. Although nothing happened to us, the location doesn't seem to be the safest area and it does have a New Orleans haunted feel to it. Also, there's roache there, bit they're are everywhere in the city.

the hotel was hot, no telelphones in rooms

It was one of the few hotels with rooms still available when we booked our weekend at Jazzfest. There is a mini fridge and a microwave in the room.

Service: No cleaning service staff on site after 5:00 pm. Room: There are no telephones or clocks in the room so you cannot call down for a wake-up call and you cannot set an alarm. There were small bugs flying and crawling in and around the sink. There was one small window in our room with plastic blinds and no curtain so it became very bright in the morning. The rooms do not come with shampoo and the front desk staff could not access additional pillows upon request. All of this might have been tolerable if it was just a cheap hotel but we payed over $100 a night to stay here during Jazzfest.

The clerk was wonderful. The hotel was filthy, smelly, leaked water inside the room which caused the floor to smell worse, and hard to walk around. The bathroom was filthy ,towels smelled like they sat in a washer for days and then dried,(unusable),Mold everywhere, the air conditioner was blowing hot air. The location was terrible. The cab ride was $16 to the French Quarter (outrageous) The worse thing though was the amenities advertised on internet were all false.I Not to stress that we were on our Honeymoon and really the bed was not fit to even sleep in. My Honeymoon night was ruined. .After I complained I think I should get a full refund and free coupons for our next visit to New Orleans

    Not for from Downtown

Bath tub leaked, mat in bathtub dangerous to stand on when you take a shower, refrigerator did not work and was musky. I understand that renovations are going on and I would hope that the room I stayed in was complete with renovation.

The men at the front desk were friendly and accommodating.

Just about everything. It has potential with a full makeover, but it's broken down and dirty.

  • Single

There was free , but not secure car parking

unsafe location , no public transportation, no security like a lock on the room, no phone for emergencies etc, etc, etc.

  • Couple

That charged my card twice. at 30 dollars extra a day that i booked. no towels in room. asked for towels and still didnt get them an hour later so i had to go do it myself. water dripping from the roof leaving a huge puddle of water in the middle of the floor. horrible experience and will never even consider going back.

The location of the hotel was good, served purpose.

    The cleanliness of the hotel.

  • Group of friends
    3.8

None, very horrible hotel. Was nothing like the pictures on the web. Very misleading.

To begin with, when I walked into 3rd floor where my room was located, it smelled like weed! Wallpaper was falling off the walls in the hallway, ice machine did not work, washine machines were located outside the elevators. The room was dirty, there were food wrappings on the floor, the friege was rusted to hell, along with the microwave. No cups for coffee, had a coffee machine but no coffee. Tub was clogged, had to stand in ankle high water that was coming back up from the drain. Balcany was used as storage for furniture. Hardly any parking and all exits were locked with chains, very ghetto. No access to pool or hot tube. A major fire hazard, only one exit. Very dirty too. If I know it was this way, I would have never booked this hote

I like the rates and the fact that it was close to bourbon street.
